Town of Winthrop

The Town of Winthrop purchased the land and will ultimately own the building. The Town will also share in the responsibility for building maintenance with NCW Libraries.

North Central Washington Libraries

Once the library is built, the North Central Washington Libraries (NCW Libraries) will operate it, including staff, collections, programs and furnishings. NCW Libraries and the Town of Winthrop will share responsibility for the building’s maintenance.

Taxpayers of Washington State

The State of Washington has provided a $2 million reimbursement grant towards the capital costs of the new facility. In order to use these funds, FOWL must match the grant with private donations.
