The Town of Winthrop purchased the land and owns the building. The Town also shares in the responsibility for building maintenance with NCW Libraries.
North Central Washington Libraries
The North Central Washington Libraries (NCW Libraries) operates the Winthrop Library, including staff, collections, programs and furnishings. NCW Libraries and the Town of Winthrop share responsibility for the building’s maintenance.
Taxpayers of Washington State
The State of Washington provided a $2 million reimbursement grant towards the capital costs of the new facility.
